Chaga Mushroom (Inonotus obliquus)
Chaga. Known as the King of Medicinal Mushrooms. Chaga
mushrooms are found wild on birch trees in harsh northern climates. Chaga has been used to treat ulcers, TB, gastritis, diabetes, and hypertension. Recent studies have found Chaga to be
anti inflammatory, anti mutagenic, and anti tumor. Chaga is very high in antioxidants and beta glucans. Chaga has a coffee like flavor and is pleasant as a tea. Drink chaga tea when you are
fighting a cold.
Cordyceps Mushroom (Cordyceps militaris)
Cordyceps has become very popular among athletes. It is known to increase physical endurance and vitality. Cordyceps has also been known to help strengthen the
immune system, oxygenate and improve lung disorders including asthma.
Capsule, tincture, or powders can be taken daily.
Lions Mane Mushroom (Hericium erinaceus)
Legend has it that those who consume lion's mane have a memory of a lion and nerves of steel. Lion's Mane is known to promote mental clarity, focus, and memory. A true brain food! Traditional Chinese Medicine has long used it for stomach problems including cancer of the digestive organs and degenerative diseases. Lions Mane is also anti bacterial, anti inflammatory, and good for the immune and nervous system.

Maitake Mushroom (Grifola frondosa)
Maitake Mushrooms are best known for their immune stimulating anti tumor properties. The mushrooms have levals of beta glucans. Maitake has shown activity against leukemia and cancers of the breast, colon, liver, lung, and prostate. Maitake is also known to stabilize blood sugar, improve digestion and increase ovulation. Fresh it is a delicious beef like mushroom found in the wild during fall. It can be taken as a daily tincture, capsule, or added to a beverage in a powder form.
Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus family)
Oyster mushrooms have substantial protein and are heart healthy. Traditional Chinese Medicine have used them for joint and muscle relaxation. Oyster Mushrooms are high in nutrients and minerals zinc, iron, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, folic acid and contain vitamins B1, B2, and C. There are several varieties and colors of oyster mushrooms and they are usually consumed fresh or dried. For the best quality find oyster mushrooms fresh at the farmers market or prepared locally at a restaurant.
Reishi Mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum)
Reishi. Known as the Queen of Medicinal Mushrooms. Also know as Ling Chi Mushroom or Herb of Immortality. Reishi is wild harvested or cultivated. Reishi's most recognized for its ability to help the body fight cancer, build the immune system and increase vitality. Reishi is anti inflammatory, lowers cholesterol and blood pressure, used for hormonal balance, and helps calm the nerves. It is an adaptogen often used as a preventative medicine.
Shiitake Mushroom (Lentinula edodes)
Shiitake Mushroom has been known for its ability to build the immune system which also makes it effective as a cancer preventative. Shiitake is high in protein and has all nine essential amino acids. It is a good source of vitamins B1,B2, and B12 and several minerals including calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium and potassium. Shiitakes have been helpful with the cardiovascular system/circulation, detoxification, skin appearance, and reducing inflammation.

Turkey Tail Mushroom (Trametes versicolor)
Turkey Tail has been extensively researched in recent years in the medical field. It has shown positive results with inhibiting tumors and preventing metastasis of several types of cancer. Turkey Tail Mushroom has also been used to help with allergies, inflammation, diabetes, autoimmune disorders and more!
Turkey Tail grows abundantly throughout North America and makes a pleasant slightly sweet tea. Use the mushroom to make an immunity soup or take it daily in a tincture or capsule form as a tonic and preventative. Truly amazing.
